Advantages of remote control operated, automatic gates:

• A security guard on site can use an intercom system for verbal verification before remotely opening gates
• CCTV can be used to give visual verification
• Using proximity cards or tokens, access can be controlled to allow verified personnel only
• Control and operation of the gates, being automated, can be done from another site sometimes miles away
• Operation of the gates can also be done via a push button remote in a driver’s cab

If a company decides to have automatic gates installed they can also consider additional security options such as having 10kv fitted and/or CCTV installed to interface the 10kv electric gate opening.
